As our Food Safety Manager , you will lead our Food Safety Compliance team, managing 2 direct reports. You will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, leading audits and managing our Quality Management System (HACCP) at our factory.
This is a permanent full-time position, working Mon-Fri 8am-4.30pm with working from home option.
You will :
Ensure Food Safety of products by being accountable for the proper operation of the Food Safety systems in line with Danone Food Safety policy
Ensure the implementation and proper functioning of the Danone Food Defence Programme at the factory
Oversee the implementation of the site audit calendar, ensuring that audits carried out are effective and followed up
Be responsible for the implementation of Danone approach of HACCP standards & risk assessments
Ensure factory adherence to all regulatory, corporate and ISO 22000 Quality & Food Safety Standards and dissemination of any relevant updates
In addition to a strong background in Food Science , Chemistry / Biology or Process Engineering , to be successful in this role ideally you will also have :
Proven experience in Quality Assurance in dairy, food or pharmaceutical industry, understanding of risk assessment in dairy production is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of RMP / GMP , NZFSA / FSANZ compliance & ISO / HACCP / FSSC standards
Ability to interpret & adapt technical knowledge to the manufacturing processes on-site
Ability to engage stakeholders through effective communication and influencing
High level of attention to details and be a team player
