This SaaS company has been growing organically for many years and has hit 10m in ARR without raising any money at all.
In order to grow into a new category and build a lot more product, they have just raised a $10m capital round to grow a lot faster.
Already known as one of New Zealand's most successful SaaS businesses, this will see them really start moving and with this money they are about to scale at serious speed and so they are equipping ourselves with people who have experience working with rapid scale in a tech business.
This is where you come in .
They are looking to appoint their very first, full-time Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to the executive leadership team as they gear up to scale up.
The journey so far has been double-digit annual organic revenue growth from 0-$10m over the past 12 years. They’re currently a team of 60+ people, concentrated in Wellington but now remote first everywhere in NZ, and are now looking to accelerate from $10-$50m.
To support your growth mindset you will have relevant experience in :
Successfully building a category within an industry or sector and creating a community around it
Exponentially growing a global self-service SaaS business, with deep experience in the North American market
Supporting enterprise software sales using account-based marketing and other tactics to build pipeline, retain customers and upsell - particularly in North America, UK and Europe
Understands how to grow a global brand at scale using omnichannel marketing
Strategic thinking capability; able to articulate the marketing vision and galvanize a team towards the execution of that vision
In-depth knowledge of big data analysis across key marketing tool set
Extensive marketing automation understanding with a working knowledge of SalesForce Marketing Cloud an advantage
Good communication and interpersonal skills, can build relationships at all levels of a client organization, or internally
Excellent presentation skills, ability to produce and present data clearly including at customer, company and board level
Strong servant leadership skills and experience, ability to mobilize a team and navigate both positive and constructive conversations
Being the voice of marketing for an organization - internally and externally
