Te Rapa, WaikatoLooking for an IT Help desk role with a leading brand?TRT have the IT role for you!TRT are leading manufacturers of Heavy Transport Trailers, Mobile Cranes and Specialised Equipment with offices in Australia and New Zealand.

A privately owned business, TRT offers fully integrated engineering design, manufacturing and fabrication along with parts distribution and mechanical / crane service.

We are looking for an experienced System Administrator with a good understanding of computer software, hardware, and networks, is passionate about IT and able to communicate that passion to all levels of the business.

You will provide first-level contact and incident resolution for all users with hardware, software and applications problems.

Proven experience working in front line support for an IT Help desk is essential. You will be able to install, configure and maintain computers, networks and related hardware.

We require a person who is able to manage our Microsoft Windows domain infrastructure, and ensure Server Uptime is achieved to the required levels.

The successful applicant will need to demonstrate skills / knowledge in the following areas : Relevant IT qualification, certificate or 2 yrs + commercial experience as a System Administrator in a Windows Domain environmentStrong trouble shooting and fault finding skillsSound knowledge of LAN / WAN NetworksHigh level of accuracy and outstanding attention to detailExperience with Windows Server and daily system maintenance is requiredKnowledge of a range of ERP, or similar, systems is an advantageAn in-

depth knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems, Microsoft office systems, SQL Server, and Active DirectoryA working knowledge of DNS, DHCP and VMWareFamiliarity with Veeam backup and restoration products an advantageMust be prepared to travel to company branches in Australia and New Zealand when necessaryThis position will report to the existing Technology Manager.
