Purpose of the role :

Working closely with the Regional Manager, this position is responsible for operational management across the service area.

The role motivates and leads their client services team by driving a Person Directed Service model and achieving agreed outcomes for client success and organisational excellence as evidenced through service delivery performance targets and KPI’s.

The Service Team Manager will support the delivery of our key priorities, role model the values of Blind Low Vision NZ and promote efficient, effective and cost-appropriate service delivery to clients alongside the Regional Manager.

You would be based in Wellington, Wanganui, Palmerston North, New Plymouth, Kapiti, Napier or Gisborne.

  • What we are looking for :

  • An interest in developing as a leader of people.
  • A background in rehabilitation preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently, establish priorities and demonstrate excellent judgment skills.
  • An interest in staff engagement and cultural change.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Demonstrated experience with all Microsoft suite applications in particular Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • An understanding of the Salesforce CRM application would be beneficial.
