Job Description

What we’re looking for

We are currently recruiting a small crew of Traffic Management Operative’s to join our new Traffic Department team in Palmerston North.

What you’ll be doing

As well as general traffic management duties, you’ll also be carrying out labouring duties, such as lifting and carrying road maintenance equipment, tiding around site, speaking to members of the public.

You’ll be working in a team and communicating over RT’s so good use of the English language is essential.

We are looking for people who are flexible to work the odd night shift and weekend.

We offer time and a half paid after 40 hours and when working weekends and all PPE supplied.

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Class 1 license as a minimum, class 2 would be advantageous;
  • Current valid TC ticket and experience is essential;
  • WTR advantageous;
  • Excellent communicational skills;
  • Reliable and trustworthy;
  • Physically fit;
  • Team player;
  • Passionate about health and safety.
