The Role

Due to internal promotion, an opportunity has come available for a driven and experienced sales professional to manage an existing SME customer portfolio, that has plenty of future growth potential within the Auckland region.

Reporting to the Trade Sales Manager, this role offers a great blend of business development and account management where most of your time will be spent out on the road maintaining relationships with our valued residential builders.

You will be supported by the wider team to succeed and be given the autonomy to use your initiative to develop your own call cycles while ensuring exceptional service delivery.

About You : You will play a lead role in capturing sales opportunities across your portfolio therefore your passion for building rapport and long-lasting customer relationships is an absolute must! You’re a driven and experienced sales professional offering a minimum of 3 years’ experience within a similar role in the residential building sector.

In addition to this, you will also need to the demonstrate the following -

  • Highly self-motivated and outcome driven
  • Calm under pressure and focused on the bigger picture
  • Ability to communicate at all levels in a professional manner
  • Diligent and commercially astute
  • Exceptional time management / organisational skills
