Our Administration team in Rotorua / EBOP / Lakeland are seeking an experienced Administration Coordinator with excellent customer service skills to be responsible for the overall front-desk area including welcoming visitors and answering telephone calls, completing administration tasks, and be the in-house go-to for queries, database management and minor technical support.

Supported by the Administration Manager, this role will suit someone with Intermediate experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, excellent time management skills, a quick learning ability, and enjoys working autonomously within a fast-paced and variable environment.

This is a permanent part-time role working 20 hours per week in our Whakatane office. Flexibility to work between 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm Monday to Friday is essential.


  • Previous experience within a front-desk / administration assistant or coordinator role.
  • Strong customer service skills, and a good telephone manner.
  • Empathetic nature, and ability to provide a high-level of service to people who are living with a disability, visitors, and the wider Whakatane team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Computer knowledge (intermediate level Microsoft Office suite and experience with Mail Merge is essential), and experience with database management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to continue to work at a high standard under pressure, meet deadlines and solve problems.
