Our Technology Consulting team are looking for someone like you, an experienced SAP Practice Leader, to help position us to effectively engage clients and deliver SAP cloud solutions.

What might your day look like with us?
Establish and build upon an existing culture of inclusion, integrity, respect and support of the team. This includes setting the direction and purpose of our SAP team based on our global and local firm wide strategy.
Manage, lead and mentor a team of SAP specialists and grow future skills from within based on market demand. This includes ownership of the employee lifecycle from interviewing and hiring, through to developing skills, performance rating and disciplinary responsibilities.
P&L budgeting responsibility, ensuring that the practice holds the right balance of people, skills and availability to meet current and future demand pipeline.
Play an active role in relationship management with clients by supporting procurement / RFP / RFQ / RFI proposals, demonstrations and presentations.
Work with other SAP, Technology and Consulting practice leaders as part of our broader Consulting leadership team
Connect and collaborate with peers from other Deloitte member firms to build on and off shore capabilities, bringing together a robust team to deliver cross functional SAP and non-SAP solutions to clients throughout New Zealand and the Asia Pacific.
Align practice management duties with wider Deloitte strategic initiatives to create a culture of collaboration, to serve with integrity and foster an inclusive environment.
Enough about us, let’s talk about you
Demonstrable practice management and practice leadership skills in a professional services or consulting environment (ideally from a big four or a tier 1 global consulting firm).
Sound financial literacy and commercial acumen is a must.
Good understanding of functional and technical SAP architectural principals that drive a successful programme. Past expertise in a core work stream / domain will be highly beneficial - Financials, Supply Chain, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Planning or Manufacturing.
Experience delivering at least two full lifecycle large scale SAP S4 / HANA programmes with enterprise clients locally or globally, in both agile and waterfall environments.
Open communicator and ability to quickly to establish rapport with people at all levels, including executive / C level clients and Partner group.
Proven ability to think creatively to solve complex problems and executing solutions to a high level to ensure that practice is on track to achieve budget, profitability and headcount.
Ability to live the Deloitte values and engrain strategic initiatives into the everyday culture of the team, building on an already high performing team.
