The Children’s Ward / Te Whare Whakarata Taitamariki provides whānau centred care for children and adolescents in the acute care environment in Whakatane hospital.
We are a kind, friendly team of skilled and motivated nurses all working to provide quality health outcomes for the child, family and our communities.
We have a permanent part-time Registered Nurse position available working 56 hours per fortnight.
Knowledge of Tikanga, Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and the principles of Kaupapa Māori is an asset. Applicants must be committed to implementing Te Toi Ahorangi Strategy to ensure tamariki and their whānau move towards Toi Ora.
