Curtiss-Wright is looking for two Manufacturing Engineers to join our growing Sensors team at our state-of-the-art facility by Bournemouth Airport.

Your Challenge :
Performing various analyses, design and / or assembly related to manufacturing or industrial engineering projects.
Developing, implementing and maintains methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies.
Interfacing with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products.
Estimating manufacturing cost, determining time standards and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines.
Interfaces with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products and conduct reducibility review of engineering drawings prior to release.
Performing various operational or methods analyses related to labor standards and reviews product / project flow data, equipment and labor requirements for use in conducting manufacturing operations, increasing productivity and reducing production unit cost.
Assisting in the evaluation of engineering changes and / or other specifications requirements and performs as technical liaison with other engineering personnel such as program management, finance, design, quality, procurement, inspection, and production.
Establishing Manufacturing process flow and work instruction. Creating and updating manufacturing standard procedure, which defines specific manufacturing processes.
Working cross-functionally across the business during problem solving activities, such as internal investigations, corrective actions, build defects, tooling design and modification.
Supporting continuous improvement activities by identifying and establishing opportunities within the organization.
Your Expertise :
Experienced in reading and understand drawings and specification
Knowledge of basic electronic and mechanical assembly principle
Ability to work with mathematical concepts and apply them to practical situations
Good problem solving skills and ability to deal with variables in situations where limited standardization exists
Strong MS Office skills
This position may require exposure to information which is subject to export control regulations such as the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
