The Role

Join our Policy Platforms team as Operations Analyst today! With your strong Guidewire knowledge, you will ensure that our day-to-day operations across the Policy Platforms are running smoothly and efficiently.

For your role to make a difference, you will be able to identify operational improvement across the Platform and collaboratively work together with different stakeholders of the business to ensure an effective delivery of priorities and objectives of the platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Triage issues, incidents and service requests from customers (colleagues)
  • Conduct insightful, ad hoc analysis to investigate operational issues and / or researching issues they’ve found that are limiting the platform / organization
  • Operate, monitor and maintain production quality ensuring service levels, availability, capacity and resilience
  • Collaborate with all Agile delivery teams to provide information supporting, delivery, development, and continuous delivery
  • Collate and deliver information on user / system issues
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reviews and analyze of current processes using operational metrics and reports
  • Understand and communicate the operational impact of any changes from the platform going into production
  • Perform application deployments and conduct technical verification tests
  • Participate internal and external audit reviews
  • Skills & Experience

  • Strong Guidewire v8+ knowledge
  • Production support background with 1-2 years’ experience in delivery, implementation and operations and production support services
  • Knowledge of delivery, implementation and operation of production support services
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Confidence in liaising at all levels of customers and management
  • Strong understanding of business systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Excellent judgement and decision-making capabilities
  • Ability to identify and solve problems through analysis and planning
  • Business Analysis (Intermediate to Advanced)
  • Project Management experience (Basic to Intermediate)
  • Agile software delivery knowledge
