This is a fulltime 1.0 FTE / 80 hours per fortnight role. The successful applicant will berequired to work rostered and rotating shifts with weekends as tō mātou rōpū - About our who are proud of the work that they do to.

The focus of the work is presentingreprocessed reusable medical devices for use in our operating theatres forpatients undergoing elective and acute surgery and endoscopic procedures.

Sterile technicians are a professional group who are members of theAllied Health Scientific and Technical workforce at to - About you certificate in Sterilising Technology Level 4 or equivalent and ideally holdGENCA Endoscopy qualifications.

However full training can be given in Endoscopy relevant health experience, or recent school leavers or others who arepassionate about seeking a career in the health environment.

Within two (2)years of employment, trainees shall be require to have completed the level 4certificate in Sterilising Technology via distance learning through Toi OhomaiInstitute of Technology, Rotorua.

Fees for the course will be included in theposition for trainees.
