About the Role :
This role partners with the Sales and Finance teams and manages pricing and customer deductions with customers. You will provide business and financial support in the form of planning, analysis and reporting of trade spend and margin for the sales business.
Key Responsibilities :
Ensure customer deductions actioned in a timely manner and compliant with company policy
Provide support in preparation and analysis of the New Zealand P&L (forecast, budget & actuals), including journals
Provide support and assist with audits to ensure on-time completion
Assist TF Manager with performance of internal audits to ensure Sox compliance
Provide support of planning (budget and monthly forecast) process and Strategic plan with Retail sales team and Finance
Participate in workflow style activity + ensure accuracy of data that’s loaded to NPC
Ensure hierarchy in BPCS and Demantra set up correctly
Publish new SKUs
Ensure trading terms and discount set up correctly
Provide Demantra system training to the team
Coordinate between GBS and local Sales team to ensure clear communications and deliver result on a timely manner
Liaise with various stakeholders (GBS, sales team, Finance, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Pricing and marketing) and assist with business process improvements
About You :
Degree qualified in Business / commerce accounting (preferably CPA / CA)
Experience in financial accounting / planning / analysis (preferably in FMCG or Retail sales channel)
Understanding of transactional processes / core systems (BPCS / SAP / Demantra)
Variety of software applications Excel, Cognos, PowerPoint ,Tableau (or similar)
Ability to analyse and interpret data to make recommendations
Ability to think strategically and translate this thinking into measurable actions
Ability to follow up, understand issues and their resolution, and work them through to completion
Strong presentation and communication skills (written and verbal)
