    We have an exciting opportunity to join our rail team where you can use your track alignment design experience to support the creation and improvement of the rail network across New Zealand.

    Using your rail track alignment technical design expertise, you will work closely with our key partners, clients and other designers to create infrastructure that is robust, resilient and safe.

    You will be responsible for designing the geometric track alignment for various types of rail projects and work within a multi-disciplinary team to prepare technical documentation from concept through to detailed design.

    About you

    You will have several years hands-on geometric design experience working on rail engineering and / or transit projects. You possess a sound understanding of the operation and maintenance of metro rail systems as well as longer regional rail lines.

    You’ll be a strong communicator, with experience in a client facing environment and be great at working alongside and coaching others.
