Right now, we’re seeking a talented Principal Advisor, Monitoring within our Policy team, to join us in a permanent role to take responsibility for day-to-day monitoring of Taumata Arowai.
Having extensive experience across the public sector within a policy and / or crown entity monitoring or stewardship role you will bring a sound understanding of the monitoring process, machinery of government, financial management, public sector policy and an ability to lead from the front.
You will have responsibility for
Advice on appropriations and funding of Taumata Arowai including levy development and administration
Development of a sound approach to performance monitoring
Review of performance and accountability documents including financial performance
Regular monitoring reports
Appointments
Support for wider budget management and water services appropriations advice
Contribution to wider reform policy work
