    As partof its current transformational change programme, a recent change in organisationalstructure has enabled the introduction of a number of new roles.

    Accordingly, aPolicy Advisor is being sought to join the Strategy and Investments team.

    As aPolicy Advisor you will contribute advice, research and analysis to informpolicy development, review and implementation across the Public TransportGroup.

    On any given day you’ll work on long term plans and plans with naturalcycles, as well as on wider strategies and policies, for example, electricvehicles, park and ride, school transportation, or total mobility.

    You will bea key team member working closely with other smart and collaborative colleaguesin an inclusive and innovative environment.

    As wellas a relevant tertiary qualification, attributes sought include :

    Understanding or experience of policydevelopment in central or local government

    Experience translating legislation andstrategy into policy and operations

    An ability to communicate complex issuesto a wide range of audiences in plain English, both written and verbal.

    Experiencein working collaboratively and an ability to influence stakeholders across alllevels
