    We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Analytics Specialist to join our Farmlands Insights and Analytics team. Reporting to our Data & Analytics Manager you'll provide data analysis, modelling and machine learning skills to Farmlands.

    You'll work with key stakeholders on understanding their why's, work on strategic initiatives and providing support to deliver Farmlands Strategy.

    This position will help you grow your skills as a confident communicator and to work with internal customers at all levels of the co-operative, translating technical information into practical, everyday terminology.

    First and foremost, we're looking for a people-person. Someone who can build and maintain relationships with team-mates, folks in other teams and external parties too.

    To be successful, you'll have a good grasp of analytics, documentation skills and be familiar with some machine learning models. Ideally you'll :

  • Have proven work or study experience in data analysis and design
  • Be familiar with Python and / or R, T-SQL and / or Power BI
  • Be competent in Statistics, Mathematics and / or Computer Science
  • Be able to work and collaborate with a team
  • Be willing to learn and challenge yourself
  • Having knowledge of Big Data technologies (Data Lake, Spark, Storm etc). would be a bonus!
