The Faculty of Agribusiness and Commerce is looking for vibrant and dynamic team members. Marketing is an important part of our specialised degree programmes, which draw students from New Zealand as well as from the Asia-Pacific region.
This includes a major in the Bachelor of Commerce, contribution to the Bachelor of Agribusiness and Food Marketing, the Masters of Business in Global Management and Marketing, and other undergraduate and postgraduate degrees at the University.
Our programme includes all the typical elements of marketing such as principles, social marketing, consumer behaviour, analytics, experiential / branding, services, product design, promotions / communications, retailing / B2B, and strategy.
We are looking for someone with a PhD in Marketing (or a related area), a sound quantitative background, and proven track record of teaching and research excellence and support to students studying Marketing.
The Faculty has a strong focus on agribusiness so a familiarity with the agribusiness environment or ability to develop capability that will build on the Faculty’s already strong reputation will be an advantage.
Your ability to act as an advocate for the Faculty, and create effective relationships internally and externally, particularly with professional bodies and industry, will ensure your success.
The current Marketing team has a research focus in food marketing, as well as strengths in agribusiness marketing, tourism marketing and services marketing.
Contribution to these research areas will be well regarded.
