This role works closely with the wider accounting function as well as legal and support staff at Chapman Tripp, and is a key role in ensuring accuracy in the data going into our financial systems.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities :

  • Processing of all credit card transactions
  • Processing of all local and national travel transactions
  • Processing of all LINZ search fees transactions
  • Monthly reconciliation processes
  • Processing of staff reimbursements
  • Data entry processing for employee changes
  • Liaising on a daily basis with the partners and the wider accounts team to organise partner authorisation of any payments
  • Setting up ad hoc payments including processing of disbursements
  • Project support and ad hoc reporting
  • Experience and Skills Required :

  • Previous experience in office admin, data entry and reconciliations
  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Commerce
  • Intermediate MS Word and Excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Positive and motivated attitude to work along with being a good team player
  • Discreet and confidential in dealing with sensitive information
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and take responsibility for work
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
