The role Mō tēneitūranga mahi

We’relooking for a Support Workerwho is passionate about supporting people on their recovery journeys. You’ll report to the Team Coach and joiningour Pathways Christchurch Residential Services team, who support people totransition into independent living.

You will be working in a team of SupportWorkers all with a common purpose to support people experiencing mentalillness.

As aSupport Worker you’ll be

Supporting people with budgeting and independent daily living skill

Attending appointments and advocating for people

Assisting people to connect with their communities

Be prepared to do whatever it takes - cleaning, cooking, gardening, personal care or helping out with everyday tasks

This is a part-time role working Sunday and Mondayfrom 3pm to 11.30pm, 16 hours per week, and based in Christchurch.

You Mōu :

We areinterested to hear from people who have a caring nature and work in a recoveryfocused way, you will have impeccable attention to detail and be able toprovide medication support for our people.

You must hold a current full driver’s licence

You must hold a current first aid certificate or be willing to obtain one

Applicants must hold the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing - Level 4 (NZCHW) or a recognised equivalent.

Ideally you’ll have some experience working in the mental health field

And an understanding of Te Ao Maori principles in a wellbeing setting.
