GARAGE SERVICE EMPLOYEE (Yardie) : HIRING NOW!
We are looking for highly motivated individual!! This is an opportunity to join our Fleet team as Garage Service Employee.
NZ Bus provides public transport services for Greater Wellington Regional Council (Metlink) here in Wellington (we also operate in Auckland and Tauranga).
This role is a Permanent, full-time position with weekly pay. Your ability to work flexible hours in the operation is essential given this role involves rotating shifts which cover any 5 out of 7 days;
this may include nights, weekends and / or public holidays.
Responsibilities Includes :
Assist in all aspects of fueling, washing, cleaning, polishing and parking of NZ Bus vehicles.
Driving and parking 'out of service' buses
Assist in all aspects of minor repairs to fleet and facilities
Helping with adhoc jobs from fleet
Ultimately anything required to get our buses road ready each day!

What You'll need :
To hold Class 1 Full NZ driver's license for at least 6 month (Class 2 and 4 is preferred)
Practical hands-on skills, with experience or strong interest in maintenance
A positive attitude and reliable
Ability to work as part of a team effectively
Ability to maintain accurate documentation and records in a clear and organised manner
Attention to detail
Good time management skills
Eligibility to work in New Zealand
