This role will work closely with members of our Risk Consulting team - who supply advisory and consulting services across New Zealand.

The opportunity :

  • We have been working with a range of clients and payroll providers to assist them with their compliance obligations with the Holidays Act including working with them to change payroll systems and processes.
  • There is scope with the work that our Risk Consulting team does to gain exposure to other offerings across the team and really make this role your own on a long term basis.
  • Day to day you will :

  • You'll have experience working with Holidays Act 2003 legislation and related guidance documents issued by MBIE
  • Your knowledge of the Holidays Act and ability to apply it into organisations working environment will be critical in assisting clients to meet their compliance obligations
  • An opportunity to increase your skill sets by gaining exposure to wider internal audit and advisory work working across different teams and engagements
  • Apply your strategic problem solving, data analysis, report writing and project management skills to help solve complex client problems
  • What you'll bring to our team :

  • 4 or more years of experience in payroll and / or data analytics
  • You'll have strong data and analytics skills and experience using Excel and D&A software such as Power BI
  • Able to develop excellent client and internal relationships at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to execute projects with tight deadlines
  • You'll be able to communicate solutions to complex issues in a simple, accessible way
