We are looking for a Senior Specialist, Regulatory Change & Engagement to join the team and contribute towards making our world a safer place.
The RoleAs a Senior Specialist, Regulatory Change & Engagement, you will be responsible for developing, improving and managing both the regulatory engagement and regulatory change framework within IAG NZ.
You will work alongside key stakeholders both internal and external on all matters and will articulate and provide insights to all involved.
This is a permanent position. We are committed to providing flexible working arrangements including flexible hours and working from home options.
We are open to both full time and part-time for this position.Key Responsibilities : Manage the execution of regulatory reviews and requests across IAG NZ, in conjunction with the IAG Strategic Regulatory function as required.
Provide leadership and specialist advice to senior management and other business stakeholders that supports the execution of regulatory reviews and the maintenance of the regulatory engagement plan.
Identify emerging trends and partner with other areas of the business to communicate insights to key stakeholders.Develop and maintain the pipeline of regulatory change and provide leadership and specialist advice to the wider business to ensure regulatory change is successfully implemented and achieves optimal customer and business outcomes.
Lead the delivery and production of mandatory regulatory returns to maintain IAG NZ's operating licence.Develop and execute programmes and communications that increase awareness of the IAG NZ regulatory environment.
Skills & Experience : 10 + years' experience in developing, operating or advising on regulatory, risk or compliance related matters in a financial services organisation, legal firm or professional consultancy firm.
Degree or post graduate qualification in business, commerce, law or related fields.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven experience in collating documents, opinions and insights together into briefing documents for senior stakeholders.
Strong planning and organisational skills, able to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidence and integrity.
