There has never been a more exciting time to join Fletcher Building. About the Role We look forward to you joining the team at Fletcher Building as our new Treasury Reporting Analyst.
Based at our Penrose Corporate head office, you will be joining our wider Group Finance & Performance team, which has oversight for performance management, financial control, corporate office income & expenditure, settlements, treasury accounting, and is a key interface across the group from a finance perspective.
The purpose of this role is to take end to end responsibility for the accounting and reporting on Treasury transactions such as external borrowings, internal loans, derivative financial instruments, hedging activities and the Group’s funding costs.
This includes monthly performance reporting, and the preparation of notes included in the Group’s annual and interim financial statements as well as preparation of Fletcher Building Industries separate financial statements.
About You To be successful in the role you will have tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a similar field and be studying towards CA, CFA or equivalent.
You will have had strong exposure to reading, analysing and interpreting International Financial Reporting Standards IAS 32 / IFRS 9.
With practical experience of foreign exchange and fixed income market practices you will have an appreciation of sound internal control processes and procedures.
To be successful in the role you must be highly motivated, a self-starter with the ability to work independently in a complex environment.
With a commercial mindset and an understanding of what drives business success, you will be highly numerate with excellent analytical ability and attention to detail.
Along with a strong interpersonal skillset, you will have excellent ability in communicating complex ideas to a diverse audience.
You must have strong adaptable ability to changing and conflicting priorities while still meeting the needs of your internal and external customers.
A high level of accountability and self-awareness is important as you manage your workload in order to meet timescales. Exposure to JDE and MS Office toolset would also be preferable.
