Were looking for a Personal Assistant to General Manager of Operations About Us MercyAscots heritage goes back over 117 years to when Mercy Hospital started to provide healthcare services to the people of Auckland We are now one of New Zealands largest private surgical facilities with 22 operating theatres and intensive care facilities Every day across all three of our sites Mercy Hospital in Epsom Ascot Hospital in Remuera and our Endoscopy clinics in Epsom and in Takapuna North Shore more than 650 staff are delivering the best care possible Together with our committed Specialists we treat many thousands of patients every day and we understand that everything matters and an optimal patient experience is imperative The Opportunity The GM Operations owns the largest portfolio within the MercyAscot Executive Team and we are looking for a highly organised and selfmotivated individual to provide her with efficient PA support The position is 32 hours MonFri but were flexible as to whether it is over 4 days or 5 days Start time preferred is 0800 0830 but negotiable A normal day will be diverse and interesting and you will be responsible for the following High level and proactive diary management call screening and email management Draft internal and external correspondence on behalf of the GM Operations including letters emails presentations and reports as necessary Meeting coordination including collating agenda items taking minutes managing invitations room bookings and tracking action points from these meetings Coordinating our Executive Rounding Programme Participation in Operational Projects as required Coordinate all events chaired by the GM Operations Support of Operations Managers as required This role will also provide support and leave cover for the EA to CEO as required So what sums up our ideal candidate An experienced PA who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and make things happen An excellent communicator who is selfaware and is able to articulate matters in a tactful and diplomatic manner A brand ambassador for the Operations team and hence professionalism and a customer centric approach is nonnegotiable Not afraid to challenge status quo to initiate better ways of working Understands the meaning of confidentiality and the importance of being organised effective time management and accountability for their work Our GM Operations has a long standing career with MercyAscot and is well respected within the health sector She has a great sense of humour is future focussed and is highly regarded as an effective operator and positive leader So this is an excellent opportunity to partner with someone who believes in an individuals capability and ability to create a difference If this sounds like the job for you we look forward to receiving your application Please note that applications close on December 6th
