The Ministry of Social Development has one of the largest Information Technology Groups in the country. The IT Testing Services Team works in coordination with other IT departments and is primarily responsible for providing independent application and product testing.
About the role :
We are seeking an energetic highly motivated experienced Senior Test Analyst who is keen to grow your test career and skillset to join our team.
This is your chance to utilise your well demonstrated testing skills in a large and complex environment.
An overview of your responsibilities :
Coordinate and manage planning of the system and / or acceptance tests, including software security testing
Provide high quality, expert advice on any aspect of test planning and execution
Define test strategy across projects
Manage all test processes, including; test plans, resources, costs, timescales and deliverables
Build strong trusting relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
Ensure a high standard of testing is performed
What you will bring to the role :
Have proven testing experience in critical payment system and client management systems is required.
Comfortable with Technical Testing - you will be expected to use SQL, SoapUI and XML when needed.
Experienced in Test Data Creation.
Experience in using CONFLUENCE, JIRA and SBE (Specifications by Example) techniques
Be able to coach and mentor other team members
Understanding of Tosca is an advantage.
Experience in SWIFTT and CMS would be an advantage.
Practical knowledge in Agile projects and in DevOps delivery. Exposure to the Scaled Agile framework (SAFe would be a definite advantage).
