    Are you the Support Worker we are looking for? Someone who is passionate about supporting people on their recovery journeys. If so, then keep reading.

    We have a permanent, full-time position available in our Respite Service in Tauranga. You will be working 40 hours per week, Tuesday- Saturday, 3.00pm- 11.30pm.

    As a Support Worker in our respite team, you will be kept busy supporting people in their recovery by teaching them strategies to improve or manage their well-being and providing a listening ear.

    You might be assisting people to connect with their communities, attending appointments, and advocating for people.

    Part of the role will also be maintaining the home, hosting clinical teams and supporting guests with medication.

    The Team

    You’ll be reporting to the Team Coach and working with a team of Support Workers at one of our respite services. This service is a community service supporting people with a lived experience of mental health and addiction.

    We are interested to hear from people who have a caring and compassionate nature and work in a recovery focused way. You will have impeccable attention to detail and be able to provide medication support for our people.

  • You must hold a current full, clean driver’s licence.
  • You must hold a current first aid certificate or be willing to obtain one.
  • You must hold the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) or a recognised equivalent.
