With a strong pipeline, strategic growth and exciting current projects, we are seeking an intermediate-level asset management consultant preferably with Government and / or Defence and Industrial sector experienceto join our team in either our Sydney or Canberra office.
What we’ll like about you
As a natural leader of change, you will be the Subject Matter Expert in the field of asset management with proven technical and delivery capabilities.
You have the ability to bring conceptual solutions to life by the successful delivery and application of asset management strategies and functional solutions to projects.
You need to have demonstrable experience in reliability engineering, including facilitating workshops with senior leadership using methods such as Failure Mode, Effects & Criticality Analysis (FMECA) (or similar) in order to determine customer’s asset requirements, level of estate resilience required and consequences of asset failure.
To be successful in this position, you will have previous consultancy experience, preferably in the Government and / or Defence or Industrial sector with a strong client and project delivery focus.
Whilst this is predominantly a delivery focused role, utilising your industry knowledge and contacts to partner with the team to help secure new opportunities will be highly advantageous.
Being a strong communicator and the ability to work collaboratively with others is critical. You will partner closely with a team of Asset Management specialists as well as junior to intermediate engineers.
We are committed to the development and upskilling of our talented junior to intermediate individuals this will be an area of focus.
As a requirement, you will hold relevant undergraduate / postgraduate qualifications and industry accreditation in an asset management related discipline.
Experience in the delivery and implementation of ISO 55000 is preferred, however it is not an essential requirement.
In addition, you will have the flexibility to travel throughout Australia for short duration projected commitments (2-4 days maximum).
Furthermore, due to the nature and sensitivity of the projects and our client, it is mandatory that you hold (or possess the ability to obtain) a current Australian Government Security Clearance at Baseline level or higher, for which you will require Australian Citizenship.
