The Position and You

The PMO is a small team with a wide range of responsibility as includes project teams working on multiple initiatives; driving continuous improvement and ensuring that we continue to improve our technical toolset and capability.

The position is varied as the PMO supports the application of our best practise methodologies.

The primary purpose of the PMO Officer position is to assist the Group Manager- PMO, by being the central point of contact for all process and documentation for programmes and projects across Scott.

Main responsibilities

  • Make recommendations on project management methodologies and practices. Assist with ensuring that these standards are deployed and consistently applied in each project management team globally.
  • Coordinate organisational data and activity through IT systems and reports for capturing information.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of systems to enable the flow of information and data between teams to track performance and contribute to the completion of reports, data and analysis
  • Continuously improving workforce planning to enable the business to forecast short and long term workload and skill requirements and manage team and project resources more effectively.
  • Supply regular updates to Group Manager PMO to ensure that compliance of best practices is being adhered to.
  • Identify continuous quality improvement opportunities; participate in the development of quality procedures and processes and contribute to internal and external continuous improvement activities as required
  • To be a great match to this role you will have :

  • Demonstrated results in successful Manufacturing or Engineering Project Management
  • Current PMP Qualification.
  • Preferably over 5 years’ experience
  • Excellent understanding of the requirements of relevant legislation
  • Ability to prepare and present reports and ideas
  • Have a mentoring and coaching capability in order to disperse PM knowledge and skills
