Youwill focus on providing superb technical support to internal staff (within boththe Support Centre and stores), enabling them to maximise their productivity anduse technology effectively to achieve their business objectives.

We seek someone who will champion thecustomer’s needs within the Technology team to provide a fast and easy service,while promoting user awareness of technology.

Thisrole primarily supports the technology infrastructure, which includesputerhardware, operating systems, technology management tools, systems andapplications to enable Mitre10 staff to efficiently carry out day to daybusiness.

This is a realopportunity to develop and hone your skills and knowledge within a large retailbusiness that is going through a real step-

change in its technology offering.

As part of the ITOperations team, you will report to the IT Services Manager and be tasked withensuring :

  • Iing incidents and service requests aremanaged and resolved in an effective, timely manner;
  • Major incidents are escalated and managedwithin the Major Incident Procedure;
  • Knowledge of supported services is maintainedand up to date whenever a change is implemented or discovered;
  • Appropriate and timelymunication with usersand all other key stakeholders is delivered; and

    The delivery of the highest possible customerexperience through maintaining high standards across all aspects of your role.

    For this role we seek someone with :

  • 2+ years’ Service Desk support experience in a largeenterprise;
  • Demonstrated understanding and involvement in the useof remote management tools for desktop, application and server support;
  • Proven experience in the support of Office 365 and allMicrosoft Windows operating systems;
  • A sound working knowledge of Active Directory andrelated network services;
  • Solid experience in the use of user provisioningtools;
  • Proven experience in managing business applicationplatforms such as POS systems and business systems such as Time & Attendance, SAP, MicrosoftDynamics, MYOB etc.

    Experiencesupporting IT systems in a retail organisation, either within New Zealand oroverseas, would be a real benefit.
