About the Role :

We’re looking for a mechanically minded champion to work as part of our manufacturing team to ensure the efficient and safe running of the manufacturing process, assist the Operations Manager so that products are delivered in full, to the correct quality specification, and on time in line with the requirements of the manufacturing plan and to work as part of the operational team providing technical services and expertise, undertake process optimisation and improvement, troubleshoot, and provide training for fitting staff to ensure the best utilisation of materials and labor.

We’re looking for :

  • Plastics Trade qualification to level 4 is essential
  • Ability to work off, and understand tooling drawings, and able to produce basic drawings
  • An understanding of Hydraulic and Pneumatic principals
  • The ability to work with advanced Injection machinery control systems
  • Demonstrated ability to manage new tool testing, project work process, and liaise with contractors or suppliers
  • An understanding of Quality Assurance systems
  • High level of demonstrated mechanical experience
  • Experience using word processing and spreadsheet programmes
