About the role

We're looking for several Caregivers to join our Metlifecare Park Care Home, based in Whangarei and reporting to the Village and Care Manager.

You'll be working under the direction of our Registered Nurses providing high standards of care and support to our residents in our Care Home including Rest Home Level Care Hospital Level Care and Dementia Care.

There are a variety of shifts available :

Working under the guidance of our registered nurses

Ensuring all heath guidelines are followed

About you

We are looking for someone with the right attitude with excellent communication skills and who can work as part of a team to provide a high level of care.

Some things that will strengthen your application include :

Careerforce Health and Wellbeing or equivalent qualification will be advantageous

A good level of fitness

Previous experience in aged care or working with the elderly is preferred

Empathy and a love of making a difference in our residents' lives

Bright, breezy "can do" attitude and a team focus
