You will come from a mutli-faceted background with a bias in both DTC / Consumer as well as GTM / Sell-In, and in omni-channel and multi-media communications an understanding of PR, would be fantastic.
There is high stakeholder engagement and management, so exceptional influencing and partnership approach is a must . This is a 12-month fixed term contract for covering maternity.
Reporting to our Director, Global Marketing , you’ll be responsible for :
Driving day-to-day strategy and execution of marketing initiatives to ensure consumer-first and seamless integration of brand, product, business objectives with GTM planning.
Providing exceptional business insights and thought-leadership to lead disruptive conversations and experiences whilst leading seasonal integrated marketing campaigns and consumer activations and content across all channels globally.
What will you be doing :
Increasing our icebreaker brand awareness, visibility and desirability across the world.
Translate brand objectives into clear marketing strategies that are compelling, culturally relevant, on brand, commercially relevant, and drive demand for icebreaker product.
Bringing our brand purpose and product USPs to life across all channels; omni-channel (retail, wholesale, eCom) and multi-media (paid, owned, earned).
Evaluate annual marketing activity / spend aligning to our biggest priorities and opportunities to reach the consumer, including new media opportunities to reach new consumers.
Partner with regional marketing teams to stay connected, build relationships and provide updates and guidance on projects and calendars.
Proactively leverage data, market and consumer insights to develop impactful strategic, culturally relevant and targeted recommendations.
GTM and Consumer priorities :
Build and execute go-to-market consumer strategies to support the product segments and brand direction with development and distribution of materials.
Lead the Sell-In Process for icebreaker, making sure initiatives are well represented to internal audiences at key internal meetings and ensure the global markets have what they need to bring the product stories to life.
Coordinate the rollout and regional adoption of global marketing programs via the oversight of comprehensive toolkits.
Post toolkit release, you will provide support to regions as they adapt your programs in their markets.
Develop and manage global consumer calendar with cross-functional teams.
Lead the development of creative briefs to address defined business needs for strategic direction, content or other means of marketing support.
Participate in creative production, attending shoots to oversee content creation.
Report key brand metrics and manage brand tracking program in health, image, NPS.
Own joint accountability with the Head of Digital Marketing for;Campaign performance metrics, brand building and commercial KPIs.
Lead the direction of all commercial marketing and trade marketing activities globally cascading execution into regional teams and channels.
Your past life :
Equivalent of 8 years plus in a similar level marketing / brand or advertising agency senior management role in a global capacity
Experience crafting successful, channel optimized, consumer obsessed solutions for execution across a variety of marketing vehicles : traditional, digital, in store, social, experiential, PR
A strong background in content creation / production experience and integrated media
Experience managing vendors, external agency partners at a global level
Strong process-driven abilities with demonstrated experience in driving improvement and execution of global programs and initiatives
Diplomatic influencer with ability to work in a global / local marketing team structure
Experience planning and managing a budget, with a proven ability to plan budget around ROI of the proposed plans and drive a clear return on the key account marketing plans
Experience working with a team in a consumer goods, global brand across retail, wholesale, and e-commerce channels
