The Position Achieving growth in the specialty supplement channel via acquisition of new business Working with new and existing clients to increase market penetration in New Zealand Play a full and active part in defining commercial proposals for customers Reach and exceed sales targets for GPN products and drive sales in the territory Effectively manage a portfolio of accounts ensuring revenue targets are reached and customers relationships are built Maintain regular positive contact with all customers Develop new business according to National growth plan and KPI s set Prepare forecasts and budgets for ongoing and new business customers Attend appropriate Trade Fairs Expos as required to generate leads and build relationships Prepare promotional and business plans for all current and opportunity tender business Act as a key interface between the customer and all relevant divisions within GPN Execution of marketing plans in the field Manage representative athletes and ambassadors for events in the territory The Preferred Candidate A track record of experience in territory sales within a food beverage nutrition or FMCG sector preferably in the sports nutrition area 4 years Must have a passion for sports nutrition or fitness Selfstarter with the capability to work alone Qualifications in Sales Business Marketing or similar Good IT literacy with a knowledge of MS office Experience executing marketing and promotional activities with state accounts Target focused with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets set An entrepreneurial spirit with a strength in spotting opportunities within the market Strong relationship building skills with a track record of building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers Professional communication skills with the ability to connect with the customer in the most appropriate way Excellent presentation skills with a confidence of presenting to audiences at all levels The ability to manage multiple tasks and projects Strong work ethic with a focus on delivering outstanding results The ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment Good financial acumen and ability to understand financial budgets and deliverables
