Job Description

A dynamic and flexible role that centers on the guest journey through our busy five star boutique hotel. This is an opportunity to showcase your warmth, enthusiasm and commitment to service excellence to visitors to Queenstown.

This role operates across the Front Office and Food & Beverage functions in our hotel and is a tremendous opportunity to gain exposure & experience in both hotel departments.

Responsibilities :

  • Welcome guests and have them feel at home, including Reception duties
  • Assist guests with their queries and requests
  • Anticipate the needs of our guests by tailoring the guests experience to their taste
  • Optimise opportunities to upsell hotel products and services
  • Deliver memorable service to guests dining in Lombardi Restaurant & Bar, including Food & Beverage attendant duties
  • Work Experience

  • Previous Front Office or Food & Beverage experience in an upscale hotel preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Positive and can-do attitude, with a flair for sales
  • Willingness to learn and develop
  • Barista skills & knowledge of wines is advantageous
