    In recent years when hiring we have explicitly turned our focus to increasing our representation of Māori and those who identify as disabled through all levels of our organisation.

    We are making great progress, but we can do more, and we’d love your help.

    What would I be doing?

    Partnering with our Talent team and business leaders, as our Diversity Sourcing Specialist you will advise on and implement targeted sourcing strategies to attract future ACC talent who identify as Māori or with a disability.

    You will advocate for candidates and to help ensure our recruitment artefacts, selection methods, and candidate experience positively support an inclusive approach to hiring at ACC.

    A natural relationship builder, you will foster strong relationships with iwi, external agencies and organisations to promote employment opportunities through ACC and broaden our access to key talent.

    You will also take the lead on our early careers programmes and look for opportunities to apply a D&I lens to the design and execution of our key internship programmes.

    How do I know if I am a fit for this role?

    To be successful we’d anticipate your background would reflect :

  • Experience implementing sourcing strategies with a deliberate focus on diversity outcomes
  • Significant experience in recruitment, preferably at a senior level
  • Sound understanding of Te Tiriti principles
  • Significant experience in effectively managing a wide range of internal and external relationships
  • Exceptional influence and interpersonal skills
  • A great attitude and a curious, continuous improvement focused mindset
  • Proficiency in tikanga Māori and te reo Māori, and / or recruitment experience within the disability sector would be advantageous
