We are seeking an experienced EH&S and Facilities Coordinator to join our Baxter NZ team. Reporting to the Country Manager, New Zealand, this role has ownership for making sure our sites run smoothly and supporting our EHS Manager with the implementation of health and safety programmes.
Key Responsibilities : Facility maintenance for our Auckland and Christchurch sites, including all safety, security, cleaning, and catering requirementsLiaison with landlords for owner related site maintenanceCo-ordinate site contractors, ensuring all health and safety requirements are metCo-ordinate Environment, Health & Safety programmes for the siteManaging front of house reception and providing general office supportFacilitate site inductionsCo-ordinating site events and engagement activitiesManaging expense documentation - PO’s, Invoices etcThis is an opportunity to work with a team of people all dedicated to our vision of saving and sustaining lives.
You will need to be someone that has a high level of initiative and attention to detail and be self-motivated to work autonomously.
You’ll be a natural born organiser and team player and your ability to be adaptable is also key in this role as there is a broad range of tasks and lots of key stakeholders.
We are also looking for someone who is passionate about making a positive contribution to team culture and driving EHS opportunities to improve the wellbeing of our team.
Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge and Experience : At least 3 5 years experience in facilities co-ordination or office managementContractor managementHealth and safety administrationExperience with MS Office essential and Coupa would be an advantageDemonstrated ability to problem solve and multi-taskBaxter’s employees are united in a mission to save and sustain lives.
