What you will do
The Directorate of Defence Recruiting is looking for a skilled and experienced manager to drive and lead a team of Candidate Engagement Facilitators who support military recruitment across NZDF Recruiting Offices in New Plymouth, Palmerston North, Napier and Wellington.
Based in Palmerston North you will be responsible for providing proactive advice, guidance and training to your team, ensuring they prepare suitable candidates according to the targets and time frames required to support the Army, Navy and Air Forces workforce development goals.
You will actively develop your team and build strong relationships with key Stakeholders across the NZDF. You will also be responsible for your own small portfolio of NZDF military recruitment candidates.
What we need
An experienced manager skilled in managing high volume workloads, prioritisation and attention to detail, with experience managing remote teams.
You’ll be delivery focussed, proactive, demonstrate the ability to lead teams to success and have a passion to succeed.
Our ideal candidate has an undergraduate qualification in Business Studies or a relevant field, excellent relationship building and communication skills and the ability to coordinate multiple activities across different teams and departments whilst maintaining a high level of service and leadership.
