We are seeking someone to join our Asset Intelligence team in a full-time permanent role.
The Asset Management Information Officer will engage with all applicable directorates to support the coordinated and integrated management of asset data and associated information systems consistent with council strategies and policies.
This role's workflow will be primarily aligned with Transportation assets using and querying the Road Assessment and Maintenance Management (RAMM) software, but will also be included in the wider asset intelligence team for larger projects on other platforms and asset types.
We have an exciting body of work planned in the Asset Intelligence space in Napier City, with plenty of opportunities to show us what you're made of.
There is plenty of GIS work, asset capture, data cleansing, maintenance process modelling and a mobile device rollout to field crew.
On top of all that there is an industry-wide update to the Asset Management Data Standards (AMDS) in the works which will need to be implemented across our systems.
The successful applicant will work within the Asset Intelligence Team supporting the development, implementation, operation and continual improvement, of a fit for purpose asset management framework for the Council in accordance with the principles contained in the international standards for asset management.
You will then assist asset managers to develop a comprehensive understanding of asset performance and condition trends, cost profiles, and risk exposure, through the interrogation and analysis of asset information and data.
