  • Degree in International Relations, Foreign Policy, Geopolitics, Security or similar degree, with a focus on Asia, preferred
  • Desire and inclination to work in safety and security field. Previous experience, exposure to safety and security field, including vendor, is a big plus
  • Strong analytical skills, professional experience in research & analysis
  • Willingness to work flexible hours when incidents are in progress
  • Basic interview skills & experience
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills : strong drafting skills, good self-editing, succinct expression a must

  • Good command of English, written & spoken, and ideally Mandarin. Additional language skills e.g. Indonesian advantageous
  • You’ll be part of our firm security team and will be based in one of our locations in Asia. This group is responsible for the safety & security of all firm members in all contexts and for ensuring our premises are safe work spaces which protect client confidences.

    We respond to incidents as they occur, maintain relationships with an extensive external contact & vendor ecosystem, and work together with other support teams to help our consulting teams deliver lasting impact to clients.

    You will report to firm security’s regional director responsible for Asia, and will work closely with other members of the regional security analyst team and other key stakeholders.

    You will support the safety & security of studies and those traveling on firm business. In this role you will promote adherence to travel protocols for higher risk locations, and compliance with the travel policy.

    You will also be responsible for analysis of incidents & issues, travel tracking, and compilation of advice & guidance for travelers & studies.

    You will conduct research & risk assessments of the region, produce regular reporting, and compile study safety plans to support teams in remote & higher risk settings.

    You will also maintain extensive external peer networks and support the overall response to security incidents.
