Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Surveyor to join our Building Consultancy team.

We are looking for a proactive and motivated professional to provide and assist with Building Surveying services to clients throughout New Zealand.

These services include;

Technical Due Diligence

Premises Condition Reports

Reinstatement Cost Assessments

Dilapidations (both for Landlords and Tenants)

Defects Reports

Contract Administration and Project Advisory Services

Preparation of Specifications and Scopes of Works

Development and Construction Monitoring Services

Forward Maintenance Planning

Schedule of Condition Reports

Responsibilities

Work towards your Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) to become a professional member with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors

Develop your knowledge of buildings and the constriction process through mentorship and structured professional training

Establish and maintain professional working relationships with clients and Colliers team members

Provide administration support to assist team operation

Create, manage, and close jobs on Workflow Max

Draft invoices for professional services and maintain fee tracking records

Adhere to the code of conduct and professional ethics guidelines of RICS

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in Building Surveying or Property or relevant industry experience

Understanding of surveying fundamentals

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Strong IT and Microsoft Office skills

Team player

Passionate about property, buildings and construction
