The role of an ICT Sales Representative aims to provide these services to the IT, Digital and telecommunications industry.
The position requires technical knowledge combined with interpersonal skills in order to identify the customer’s needs and generate business for the company.
We are in need of an experienced sales star to target business customers in Auckland and offer the company's ICT products.
Keep and manage a list of prospective clients with the use of database directories either generated by Sellutions or by client company.
Build Rapport with customers and inform them about government’s plans for fibre infrastructure upgrade.
Identify and assess customer requirements and assist customers in their broadband, internet and cabling needs by educating and suggesting the best possible solution.
Evaluate existing products and services by comparing it with the current marketplace information of competitors and solutions offered by Sellutions clients.
Do a soft scope for prospective customers and pre-qualify them for a free standard fibre installation.
Carry ONT and ETP provided for presentation and visual demonstrations or better set customer expectations as to what will be installed in the premises.
Follow WH&S protocol at all times while conducting business at office premises or infield.
Quote prices and credit terms and supply updated, accurate sales and customer data.
Ensure clients of timely and error free delivery of IT related products or services which may include network, fibre / broadband, voice and IP services.
Book qualified customers for a technician using internal CRM and raise an order for technician.
Follow up with Clients in 72 hours and provide assurance the job has been booked.
Identify problems & resolve customer issues. Raise questions to management if needed.
Undergo follow-ups of services rendered to clients and resolve customer issues by identifying problems, developing solutions and recommending to management.
Fill in and check all documentation and forms, sales order, technicians’ jobs and provide a sales report weekly to enable provisioning.
Provide a reporting and feedback mechanism to management on weekly and monthly sales numbers, the overall marketability of the products and other sales / promotional efforts needed to support sales & marketing activities.
Update technical knowledge by attending product and services training as scheduled by the company.Competencies critical to the success of the role

Minimum of 3 years work experience in Direct or Field Sales / ICT Sales / Technical Knowledge
