We are seeking a corporate lawyer to join our Corporate team in Wellington.

The team has an excellent reputation and is involved in some of the most innovative deals in the market and our Corporate Division is considered to be one of the best in the country.

This role will have an M&A focus, but you will also be involved in the other work within the team including commercial contracting and strategic corporate advisory.

The team love what they do and are passionate about delivering excellent work to clients, so they are looking for someone with the same drive, enthusiasm and passion for excellence.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years' experience gained from another leading law firm or in-house team in corporate / commercial law.

You will be able to work autonomously on files, have strong technical, written and analytical skills and enjoy being given a high degree of direct client contact and responsibility.

Applications from solicitors returning or relocating to New Zealand will also be welcomed.
