About the Role

As our Business Development Executive you’ll represent Datacom to a broad range of enterprise customers, promoting service offerings and developing new business opportunities.

Key to success is your ability to be innovative and creative in ensuring targets are met or exceeded by selling Datacom service offerings.

What you’ll bring

  • Ability to manage complex issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends.
  • Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  • Establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements.
  • Prevents erroneous decisions to avoid critical delay(s) in schedules and / or unit operations that may jeopardise overall business activities.
  • Outstanding negotiating skills with the aptitude to ensure win / win situations for all parties.
  • Advanced analytical interpretation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent customer relationship building and management skills, with the ability to deal with customers at all levels and translate their needs into a complete solution
  • Responsibilities

  • Planning and directing the activities of a team of Business Development representatives, ensuring all employees are motivated to attain predetermined sales targets.
  • Managing multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously, interacting with a diverse set of partners and prospective partners.
  • Working with internal teams to help develop new products, services, or solutions matching market or client specific needs.
  • Assessing potential partners, performing competitive research, evaluating proposed deals / partnerships, and analysing and developing business cases for new business targets.
  • Providing guidance and advice to colleagues within the latitude of established company policies in order to meet schedules and resolve technical problems.
