The purpose of the Education Review Office (ERO) is to ensure our evaluation insights are a catalyst for change so that every child achieves success as a lifelong learner'.
ERO is seeking to appoint evaluators to the position of Review Officer in Te Waipounamu (Southern region), to be based in our Christchurch or Dunedin offices.
Adaptive, culturally responsive evaluators, and educationalists with proven expertise in evaluation, are especially encouraged to apply.
Permanent and 6 and / or 12 month fixed term positions are available.
Applicants should have :
o tertiary qualifications in a relevant field; and
o relevant experience in schools and early childhood education (including Pacific Services, kura kaupapa Māori, and kōhanga reo); and / or
o relevant experience in evaluation
o significant management or professional leadership experience
o proven ability to work effectively in a team
o high level analytical, written and oral communication skills

Start dates are flexible and negotiable. The starting salary (non-negotiable) for this role is set out in the Collective Employment Agreement available on ERO's website.
Please note that there is a significant travel aspect to this role (approx. 3-4 days away per week, approx. 7 weeks per term).
