    The Quality Practice and Experiences Group supports Oranga Tamariki in achieving its outcomes by providing practice analysis, advice and expertise and designing frameworks and tools to support practitioners in their everyday work with tamariki.

    Reporting to the Manager Quality, the Senior Practice Quality Advisor will be part of a team responsible for designing, carrying out and reporting on the findings of practice quality reviews, and providing information, advice and analysis to a wide range of stakeholders on the quality of practice for tamariki and whānau.

    This is an exciting role within the Quality team that requires a strong understanding of practice, excellent communication, critical thinking and influencing skills, and a passion for quality improvement.

    Key requirements of the role include :

  • Good understanding of practice and its delivery is essential
  • Proven experience in providing quality assurance on practices and / or services
  • Motivated self-starter who strives for excellence
  • Ability to influence and build effective working relationships
  • A proactive, collaborative approach and the ability to negotiate persuasively
  • Knowledge of and commitment to the principles of mana tamaiti, whakapapa and whanaungatanga and the ability to deliver to our Māori cultural framework
  • A willingness to travel within New Zealand to fulfil the job requirements
