The OpportunityYou’ll be joining the Engineering community what we call the Deloitte PACE Team (Platform and Cloud Engineering).

Our PACE team are thought leaders and specialists in Modern Software Engineering Containers, Services, APIs, and Cloud. We accelerate digital transformation by unlocking the speed that is inherent in the platforms that deliver modern applications.

We work with our Clients to exploit modern technology solutions in the cloud, multi-cloud or hybrid environments.About YouYou will be a true Engineer with a broad experience and love of complex technologies, you should have sound communication skills, and be unafraid to advise clients what good looks like’ from the Platforms (Containers and microservices) API, DevSecOps and Engineering Culture perspectives.

You will be able to assist them with the definition and implementation of the transition runway moving towards their target state.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following :

A passion for Engineering (not just the tech, but the culture and ways of working that really matter)

Experience in building Enterprise Grade Container platforms (e.g. OpenShift, AKS, EKS, Fargate etc), including Automation for self-healing and integration with other technologies (e.

g. ServiceNow, Salesforce, Dynatrace);

Experience with working with a Product mindset;

Proven track record in developing and delivering on Cloud platforms (e,g, Azure, AWS, GCP);

Knowing how to approach design and delivery of environments that deliver what is needed to your customers be they Developer teams or core Production workloads.

Passion for DevSecOps e.g. CICD practices, pipelines and toolchains that automate and accelerate checking and deployment of code

Willingness to provide on-call support on a roster basis (Our teams are organised as persistent, outcome-oriented, imagine-build-operate teams);

Experience with multi or Hybrid cloud deployments would be beneficial but not mandatory.
