Te Kaiurungi About the Role
In this role you will be working as part of BNZ Digital Process Automation (DPA) team that is responsible for delivering real value for our bankers and customers by leveraging BNZ workflow, robotics and case management platforms.
The role will interface and collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders to deliver high quality solutions. This includes :
Undertakes detailed design and estimates development effort
Designs and Configures solution to quality standards
Collaborates with team members to design, configure and unit test new features and user stories
Works with Business Analysts, Workflow Developers, Integration Developers and Quality Engineers to refine the user stories as required for better testability
Breaks down user stories into tasks
Designs, configures, codes, unit tests and integrates new features and functionality during the current sprint in accordance with the acceptance criteria defined by the Product Owner and team.
Updates progress daily through the adopted tracking tool.
Completes and ensures completion of any required documentation.
Participates in all scheduled meetings and stand-ups to assist the product owner and team to refine the product backlog including the provision of initial estimates.
Applies disciplined coding practices to enable agility and delivery of high-quality code.
Provides the team with updated developer capacity for the sprint
Assists the automation demand / business development function where appropriate.
Build prototypes to assist in visualisation of solutions.

You should be able to Propose Solutions in Pega to fit the users requirements along with Enterprise Reuse and Framework Implementations, and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. You will also bring :
5+ years technology application development and / or support
3+ years of Pega Platform delivery experience
Necessary technical skills, open to new practices to increase velocity
Ability and interest in providing input into design and task definition
Timely issue escalation to team members, stakeholders and management
Embodies the values and culture of the agile transformation process
Experienced in respective automation frameworks, SOA, TDD / BDD approaches
Instils automation first approach about quality assurance in the squads
