    The opportunities

    Our Auckland Transport and Infrastructure team works on a wide variety of exciting projects within New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific Islands, operating across the roads, rail, ports, airports and land development market sectors.

    With a strong current and future portfolio of projects we are looking for talented Stormwater Engineers of all levels to join our team and contribute to making every day better for our people and our clients.

    Our varied pipeline of projects provide numerous opportunities for our people to work on large and small projects across New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific Islands.

    You will work with a team of highly skilled professionals who will help you advance your technical, client engagement and project management skills.

    About you

    We are looking for high-performing stormwater professionals across all levels with a real passion for the design, construction and delivery of transportation and infrastructure projects.

    With a background in Civil Engineering and a keen interest in stormwater design, you will possess knowledge and skills in any of these areas :

  • Stormwater catchment planning and hydrologic analysis
  • Pipe network and culvert hydraulic design
  • Open channel design
  • Stormwater quality treatment design
  • Hydrologic mitigation design (detention and retention)
  • Flood Modelling and risk assessment (knowledge of HEC-RAS / HEC-HMS / ICM / MIKE / TUFLOW modelling packages would be advantageous)
  • Knowledge of Civil3d / 12d / OpenRoads or equivalent 3d modelling software
  • Knowledge of local statutory planning rules and processes
  • Preparation of technical assessments (for resource consent applications, management plans etc.)
  • Construction detailing and construction monitoring experience
  • You will be passionate about good design and will have grown your skills within a similar consulting, contracting or client environment.
