Due to internal promotion, we now have an opportunity for an Administration & Support Services Co-ordinator, on a 6 month fixed term basis.

This is an exciting opportunity within the wider People Services Team in Wellington CBD. This could be a fantastic entry into a People Services team within a large organisation, and an opportunity for someone keen to add a great business to their CV! Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the roleThe role of Administration & Support Services Coordinator provides a range of administration services to both NZ Post operational leaders which support their day to day resourcing and budgeting decisions,providing them with admin support so they can focus on delivering NZ Post core services.

The role will predominantly support leaders with the data entry of staff leave, timesheets, and other data which supports their day to day functions.

As this team also helps the wider support services function, so there is plenty of opportunity to learn and grow in many different areas as required and depending on need.

For example, you may be maintaining the national box bag database to ensure our NZ Post customers data is correct and up to date for annual invoicing, and help with responding to both internal and external customer queries.

Mōu - About youIdeally, we are seeking candidates with strong admin and customer skills. Our Admin Support Services team work across a variety of tasks but collaborate very closely together therefore we are seeking someone who can work flexibly and at times is happy to get stuck in and assist others in the team to achieve the wider team objectives.

As the ideal candidate for this role you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience :

  • Experience in data inputting and analysis and computer skills in a variety of applications.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to cross train and learn multiple functions within the role
